Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A «Greece – Cyprus 2014-2020»

The Cooperation Programme Interreg V-A «Greece – Cyprus 2014-2020» (Code CCI 2014TC16RFCB055) approved by the European Commission on 27.07.2015 with the Executive Decision C (2015) 5319. In total it has a budget of €64,560,486.00, of which €54,876,411.00 are ERDF resources.

The Cooperation Programme has as objectives to:

  1. increase the competitiveness of the eligible area by supporting entrepreneurship and the use of information and communication technologies,
  2. cover areas such as energy, climate change and transport, by promoting a low-carbon economy; and
  3. protection against disasters, promotion of the natural and cultural heritage, as well as technologies for the protection of natural resources.

Funding priorities

The Cooperation Programme focuses on the following three priorities:

  1. Enhancing competitiveness and entrepreneurship in the eligible area.
  2. Efficient use of energy and sustainable transport.
  3. Conservation and protection of the environment and risk prevention.
